After many years of family/holiday snaps on B&W and colour film (neg & slide), on a variety of formats, I joined the local camera club on my retirement a couple of years ago. I then took the T189 May 2008 course, and followed this by pursuing the RPS 'L' distinction, which I obtained in September 2009.

Andrew prefers landscapes but will try anything and has had some success with macro.

Chris Horton
I was born in Oxford, brought up in Swansea South Wales and then moved to Dunoon, Argyll about 37 years ago. My father was a keen amateur photographer, that’s where my interest in photography started. I have used various cameras from pocket to SLR film cameras, digital from point and shoot to DSLR and am currently shooting with a D300. I will photograph anything, but living on the West Coast of Scotland means I do shoot a lot of landscapes.
